Insect Control

Pesticides are toxic substances released intentionally to kill living things—insects in particular. One of the many serious problems with chemical pesticides is that they kill indiscriminately, eradicating nuisance insects, along with our all-important pollinators, and the beneficial microbiology found in healthy soil. Plants rely on those beneficial microorganisms to grow growth, resist disease, and deter insects. Accuro’s organic insect control deters harmful pests without poisoning or sterilizing the soil. Instead, they encourage a healthy soil “food web” for improved plant production and defense, and are pollinator-friendly.

Oricide™

Oricide™ is a blend of several plant-based essential oils that, together, create a “bubble of repellency.” Insects inside the spray zone—flying insects, crawlers, hoppers, ants, pests, grubs, digging insects—are driven out, and those outside the bubble will be repelled and avoid any treated area. OricideTM goes even further to increase the energy and immune systems of treated grasses and plants. OricideTM is not harmful to people, pets, pollinators, crops, or the environment, and has no limit on reapplication frequency. It can also be applied in combination with any other Accuro product.
